Details: Light the Night 5K presented by Ocean View Fitness will be a unique, fun-filled experience unlike any other 5k you have participated in. An after-party will be held with free food, fun for the kids, two bonfires and live acoustic music throughout the night. Each runner will receive a butterfly to release before the race. Bring your friends, family and kids and help support a child with cancer while having a great time. 100% of the proceeds go to Candlelighters of Brevard.
We will have local vendors providing food, sports therapy, and sponsor tables. Awards will be given to all age groups with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers. Details: Push yourself to the limit! Test your strength and endurance on this 1.6 mile course that runs on trails through the Florida Tech Challenge Course in the Trailhead Preserve in Fellsmere, Florida. You will encounter a military spec Marine Obstacle Course, Air Assault Course, and some additional challenges along the way. Categories include a Competitive group which must complete the obstacles as designed to be eligible to win and an Open group where you just come out and do your best with some of the obstacles modified. Details: Something different than your average 5k. Two distances to choose from. A 1-mile course for beginner runners and a 3-mile course for more advanced athletes. Details: We are excited to announce that this year the Lambda Phi Chapter of Delta Zeta will be hosting its 10th Annual Turtle Trot 5k on April 16th! The race will benefit our philanthropies, Starkey Hearing Foundation, The Painted Turtle Camp, as well as our local philanthropy, Appalachian State University’s Communication Disorders Clinic (ACDC).
